TrustFabric is growing and we need good people!

If you don’t already know what we’re doing you should probably poke around our blog, watch this video and read about VRM.

Technically speaking, we’re building a decentralised, cryptographically secured, personal information management and trusted relationship management system in Python. We use OpenSSL, Django, SQLAlchemy, Memcached, MySQL, SoapLib, Suds etc etc.

We’re small; currently there are 2 full time people, 2 part time and 2 advisors. We are a real start-up, based in Cape Town, building something that’s going to change the world. Don’t expect foosball tables but we do have the occasional strategy meeting on the mountain. Here are a few photos of our office.

There are three avenues:

1. Full time developer who wants a salary and shares in the company.
2. Part time developer who can commit to more than 16 hours a week.
3. Intern with a technical background (compsci/engineering) who is keen to learn.

It’s important to state that we’re not talking about the fluffy maybe-one-day-promise-of-shares-and-unicorns… we’re talking about an on-paper commitment of actual shares of the actual company… so it goes without saying that we’re looking for brilliant people who want to work hard and leave the corporate world behind while building a real future for themselves.

Candidates must be proficient in Python and understand cryptography. Previous experience with the above mentioned technologies would obviously be beneficial, but we’re all about finding the right person.
